12:00 to 1:15 Allan Mallach is a senior fellow in the Metropolitan Policy Program at the Brookings Institution. Mallach is a national expert on the pathways to revitalize distressed neighborhoods with equity and social inclusion. He will speak on the neighborhood impacts of the foreclosure crisis, as well as strategies for recovery. Mallach is an advocate, a practitioner, researcher and a planner.
