An improved website searchSimilar to popular search engines, the new Information Gateway search provides a more intuitive experience, with search results displaying the most relevant content among the website's extensive offerings in a user-friendly format.
An online catalog with added featuresThe online catalog offers a number of ways to browse the 200+ titles produced or distributed free of charge by Information Gateway. Search the catalog using the A-Z title index, Spanish title index, series list, or new topic list, which categorizes titles according to nine child abuse and neglect, child welfare, and adoption topics. The entire catalog or any section of the catalog can be saved or printed using the new printer-friendly format option, and new titles are now highlighted on the catalog's home page.Access the online catalog at www.childwelfare.gov/catalog
An updated glossary of child welfare termsUpdated as new terminology emerges in the field, new legislation is enacted, and child welfare terms take on new meaning, the glossary now includes definitions for more than 230 child welfare terms and common acronyms, as well as links to related terms and information on significant/relevant Federal legislation.Browse the glossary at www.childwelfare.gov/admin/glossary
