NC School Social Work Association receives 2008 Advocate of the Year Award from NASW-NC PACE

The NC School Social Work Association received the 2008 NASW-NC PACE Advocate of the Year award. The NC School Social Work Association advocates for School Social Workers through their partnership with NASW on legislative issues.

In 2007, both NASW & NCSSWA worked to keep jobs from being cut in the Guilford County School system. Without the expertise and assistance of the NCSSWA this effort would not have been successful. This partnership is an example of how Social Workers from across practice arenas can join together to better our state.

Congratulations to the NCSSWA!
